Samantha Murphy has had the opportunity to help many athletes at all levels. She has coached people to their first time across a sprint finish line, to becoming an Ironman, to many PR finishes, to world championship races, and to earn professional status. Samantha enjoys helping athletes to reach their personal best. To accomplish this she approaches each plan with attention to detail; she takes into account all of the aspects that make a triathlete successful. She teaches each athlete how to achieve the mental and physical discipline that are part of being a successful endurance athlete at any level.

In 2018 Samantha had the unique opportunity to participate in the documentary Ironmind which chronicles Brian Rose’s (founder and host of London Real) journey to tackle Chattanooga 70.3 on a plant based diet. Ironmind offers an in-depth look at Samantha’s coaching style (please note that it does include explicit language and may not be suitable for all viewers).

Outside of triathlon, Samantha holds a Master's Degree in Secondary English Education, and is a mother. After 12 years in Secondary Education, Samantha left her career to pursue her dream of triathlon coaching, racing, and raising her daughter. Her coaching is a natural extension of her years spent in the classroom. As a full time coach and former teacher, she is able to offer her athletes extensive support by creating an environment that fosters an athlete's physical and mental growth while utilizing the latest training techniques.

Samantha  has been racing triathlons since 2000. She is a multiple-time Ironman finisher, a 70.3 World Championship finisher, and has raced over 100 races at all distances.
